The Suite Attendant position at Dickey-Stephens Park is a part-time role that offers an hourly wage ranging from $11.00 to $13.00, plus tips. This role is critical to ensuring that guests who attend events and games enjoy a premium level of service in the suites. Suite Attendants are expected to serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Suite Attendants must be personable and communicative, often interacting directly with guests to enhance their overall experience. Responsibilities include maintaining menu knowledge, serving food and drinks at the correct temperature, ensuring neat presentation, pre-busing and full bussing tables during peak periods, stocking beverage stations, and coordinating with various staff members such as waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen personnel. In addition to providing outstanding guest service, Suite Attendants also contribute to the team's overall performance by being responsive to customer requests and building knowledge about bar offerings to answer patron questions accurately. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • Experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and peak event periods
  • Must maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred
  • Must have a high school diploma, G.E.D., or related food service job experience
  • Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with employees, co-workers, management, and guests

Job Duties

  • Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered
  • Provides quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to suite guests and communicates clearly with all customers
  • Ensures food items are served at proper temperature and immediately upon availability as ordered
  • Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items with no spill-over
  • Pre-buses tables and full buses tables when necessary during peak periods
  • Maintains availability to work during many peak periods
  • Stocks beverage stations when necessary including ice, juices, glassware, and sugar packets
  • Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests
  • Maintains a professional and clean appearance
  • Communicates with waitstaff, buspersons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to improve coordination and enhance patron dining experience
  • Builds and maintains knowledge regarding bar offerings to accurately answer patron questions
