Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in the live entertainment infrastructure and services industry, known for its comprehensive platform that includes venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Established in 2015, Oak View Group has rapidly grown to serve seven world-class owned venues and a diverse client roster of iconic arenas, stadiums, music festivals, performing arts centers, convention centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. The company’s mission centers around providing premium experiences in live entertainment, emphasizing innovation, inclusivity, and operational excellence across all its ventures.
The Crown Complex, located in the heart of Cumberland County, Fayetteville, NC, is one of Oak View Group’s premier venues. It is a state-of-the-art, multi-venue complex that boasts a 4,500-seat arena, a 9,200-square-foot ballroom, a 10,880-seat coliseum, a 60,000-square-foot exposition center offering unobstructed space, and a 2,440-seat theatre. The Crown Complex is home to several professional sports teams, including the Fayetteville Marksmen hockey team and the Fayetteville Fury indoor soccer team, and hosts an eclectic array of events such as concerts, family shows, sporting events, and special productions throughout the year.
The Street Team Member role at the Crown Complex is a part-time, hourly position paying $13.00 per hour. This job is ideal for individuals passionate about entertainment and marketing, looking to gain hands-on experience by enhancing public awareness and audience engagement at live events. As an on-call, event-driven position, Street Team Members are integral to the marketing efforts that make each event’s promotion and execution successful.
Street Team Members serve as direct ambassadors of the Crown Complex and Oak View Group's brand, engaging with event attendees, distributing promotional materials, assisting with event setup, and providing outstanding customer service. The role requires a proactive and energetic approach to interacting with the public and supporting event operations. This part-time role offers flexibility, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, suitable for those seeking a dynamic and social work environment.
Beyond the immediate responsibilities, this role offers valuable experience in event marketing and customer engagement within a high-profile live entertainment context, providing insight into venue operations as well as community interaction. Oak View Group promotes a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunity, valuing diverse voices and collaboration. Employees benefit from a 401(k) savings plan with matching, reinforcing the company’s commitment to employee welfare even in part-time roles. This position will remain open until October 16, 2026, giving prospective candidates ample time to apply and join a team dedicated to making memorable live experiences.
