The Ranch Events Complex, located in Loveland, Colorado, serves as Northern Colorado's premier destination for entertainment, sports, and community events. Situated less than an hour north of Denver, this state-of-the-art campus occupies 242 acres with over 375,000 square feet of indoor event space. The complex is designed to host diverse events catering to a wide audience, providing ample opportunities for dynamic marketing strategies to enhance its brand and community engagement.
The position of Sr. Marketing Coordinator at The Ranch Events Complex is a full-time role focused on supporting the Director of Marketing in promoting and enhancing the venue's image. The role involves participating in all facets of marketing initiatives, including media relations, sponsorship, advertising, promotional campaigns, graphic design, and the development of marketing assets. The Sr. Marketing Coordinator will be instrumental in executing a variety of marketing strategies to boost audience attendance and community involvement at The Ranch Events Complex.
This role offers an hourly wage ranging between $24.00 and $26.44 and includes a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. Benefits encompass health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, and paid time off which includes vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays. Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or event management preferred
- minimum 2-3 years marketing experience
- prior event industry experience preferred
- proficiency in graphic design software including Photoshop and Microsoft Office
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in various environmental conditions
- strong organizational skills
- creative problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or event management preferred
- 2-3+ years marketing experience preferred with increased responsibilities
- prior event industry experience preferred
- possess comprehensive knowledge of marketing, advertising, public relations, and digital strategy
- strong graphic design skills including proficiency in Photoshop, Microsoft Office applications, and all social media platforms
- detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- excellent written and verbal skills
- knowledge of Associated Press writing style
- strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- able to organize and express ideas and information clearly using appropriate communication methods

Job Duties
- utilize sales and marketing principles to promote the venue and remain current with emerging marketing trends, tactics, strategies and technologies
- assist in public relations efforts such as media releases, story pitches, media drops, etc.
- research projects/upcoming events to assist in creating marketing plans and strategies, such as advertising materials, promotions, grassroots, interactive efforts, and public relations for events
- maintain venue's website and create editorial, blog, and news content
- assist with in-house promotional vehicles, including in-event display boards, general signage, etc.
- maintain the venue's email marketing program and social media accounts with a focus on database acquisition and lead generation
- participate in the development and implementation of annual marketing goals, objectives, policies, and priorities
- work with internal and external key stakeholders under the guidance of the Director of Marketing to maximize marketing resources while maintaining brand integrity
- assist the Director of Marketing in the preparation of monthly corporate marketing reports and participate in monthly conference calls with other Oak View Group venue management entities
- maintain working relationships with media representatives, civic and industry organizations, corporate promotional contacts, and event and booking representatives
- other duties and responsibilities as assigned
