One of the venues under OVG’s portfolio is The Ranch Events Complex, located in Loveland, Colorado. The Ranch is Northern Colorado’s premier destination for entertainment, sports, and community events. Known for its state-of-the-art facilities, the complex spans 242 acres and offers over 375,000 square feet of indoor event space. Its strategic location less than an hour north of Denver positions it as a key hub for a variety of events, combining modern infrastructure with a vibrant community atmosphere.

The Sr. Marketing Coordinator role at The Ranch is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in amplifying the venue’s brand and outreach efforts. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role involves the development and coordination of comprehensive marketing strategies to boost event attendance and enhance public perception of the complex. The coordinator supports all marketing initiatives, including media and public relations, sponsorship, advertising, promotional activities, and graphic design. By managing these multifaceted responsibilities, the Sr. Marketing Coordinator helps ensure that The Ranch maintains its status as a premier event destination.

This position offers an hourly rate ranging from $24.00 to $26.44 and comes with a competitive benefits package for full-time employees. The Sr. Marketing Coordinator is responsible for utilizing the latest sales and marketing principles to elevate The Ranch’s profile in the competitive event landscape. Tasks include assisting with public relations efforts such as media releases and story pitches, researching and developing targeted marketing plans, maintaining the venue’s website and social media presence, and implementing in-house promotional materials. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximize resources while upholding the venue’s brand integrity.

Additionally, the coordinator assists in preparing corporate marketing reports and participates in monthly calls with other OVG managed entities to share best practices and align on overarching marketing goals. This dynamic role requires adaptability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and certain holidays, and the physical ability to operate in various environmental conditions. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or event management preferred
  • 2-3+ years marketing experience preferred with increased responsibilities
  • prior event industry experience preferred
  • proficiency in Photoshop and Microsoft Office applications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or event management preferred

  • strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in Photoshop, Microsoft Office applications, and all social media platforms

Job Duties

  • Utilize sales and marketing principles to promote the venue and remain current with emerging marketing trends, tactics, strategies, and technologies
  • assist in public relations efforts such as media releases, story pitches, media drops, etc.
  • research projects/upcoming events to assist in creating marketing plans and strategies, such as advertising materials, promotions, grassroots, interactive efforts, and public relations for events
  • maintain venues website and create editorial, blog, and news of the venue
  • assist with in-house promotional vehicles, including in-event display boards, general signage, etc.
  • maintain the venues email marketing program and social media accounts
  • focus on database acquisition and lead generation
  • participate in the development and implementation of annual marketing goals, objectives, policies, and priorities
  • work with internal and external key stakeholders, under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, to maximize marketing resources while maintaining brand integrity for the venue
  • assist the Director of Marketing in the preparation of monthly corporate marketing reports and participate in monthly conference calls with other Oak View Group Venue Management entities
  • maintain working relationships with all media representatives, civic and industry organizations, corporate promotional contacts, and event and booking representatives
  • other duties and responsibilities as assigned
