Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, renowned for its comprehensive platform that spans venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, OVG manages and operates a collection of seven world-class venues and collaborates with some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This unique blend of expertise positions the company at the forefront of the live entertainment industry, continuously innovating and elevating the standards for event experiences worldwide. The Palm Springs Convention Center, located at 277 N Avenida Caballeros in Palm Springs, CA, is one of the prestigious venues under the OVG portfolio, recognized for hosting a variety of sports, entertainment, and cultural events that bring together diverse audiences.

The part-time Server role at the Palm Springs Convention Center is an essential position within the OVG Food Services and Hospitality group. This role is designed for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional food and beverage service during events, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. The server plays an integral part in the seamless execution of meal services and overall event flow, working collaboratively with kitchen and event staff to meet and exceed guests' expectations. Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of a professional and attentive service presence at high-profile events.

As a Server within the Oak View Group, the employee is responsible for maintaining an acute attention to detail from the setup of event spaces through to the conclusion of service. The job involves not only serving but also safeguarding the quality and presentation of food and beverages. This position demands a high level of professionalism, clear communication with customers and colleagues, and adaptability to real-time guest needs. Responsibilities include knowing the menu comprehensively, ensuring correct food temperatures and presentation, and maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the service period. Additionally, servers support subsequent events by resetting and cleaning spaces and properly handling all equipment.

The part-time nature of this role offers flexibility for individuals seeking to engage in the vibrant atmosphere of live events without committing to full-time hours. Furthermore, Oak View Group supports its part-time employees through benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, promoting long-term financial wellness. The position remains open until October 2, 2026, encouraging candidates who thrive in a dynamic, event-driven environment to apply.
