Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a globally recognized leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Established in 2015, the company operates at the forefront of venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. OVG's portfolio includes ownership and management of seven world-class venues and partnerships with iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Their commitment to excellence and innovation makes them a distinguished name in the live event and entertainment industry.
One of OVG's prominent venues is Canvas Stadium, located on the campus of Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins, Colorado. This outdoor college football stadium opened in the summer of 2017, marking the return of Rams football games to campus after a 50-year hiatus. Canvas Stadium not only serves as a thrilling sports venue but also enhances campus life by creating new engagement opportunities for students, faculty, and fans. The stadium's modern facilities and vibrant atmosphere have made it a central hub for university events and community gatherings.
The part-time Server role at Canvas Stadium offers an exciting opportunity to join the hospitality team during CSU’s football season and catering events. This role demands a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. Working at Canvas Stadium means being a key player in providing ultimate hospitality to guests in a sporting and event-driven setting.
This position is regular part-time with an hourly wage of $16.00 plus tips, and it offers the potential for a $200 bonus upon successful completion of all seven home football games of the 2026 CSU football season. The football schedule includes games on September 5, September 12, September 19, October 3, October 24, November 7, and November 28 (potentially moved to November 27). Commitment to all games is expected, although exceptions may be considered in special circumstances. In addition to football game shifts, there may be opportunities to work during catering events.
Benefits for this part-time role include participation in the 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, as well as accrued paid leave at a rate of one hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually. This reflects OVG’s dedication to providing meaningful benefits even for their part-time team members. The role requires excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, the ability to maintain high responsiveness to customer needs, and a team-oriented mindset.
Overall, the Server position at Canvas Stadium is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time employment in an energetic sports and entertainment environment while gaining valuable experience in hospitality services. Employees are expected to maintain knowledge of menu items, deliver attentive and friendly customer service, ensure proper food presentation and timing, and collaborate effectively with teammates. This role promotes career growth within a leading global entertainment company while connecting with the vibrant Colorado State University community.
