The Restaurant Supervisor at Chickie's & Pete's within the PPL Center is a part-time, regular role that offers an hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $20.00. This position reports directly to the General Manager and plays a vital role in daily restaurant operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The supervisor is responsible for overseeing the restaurant team, helping maintain company standards related to service, cleanliness, and food quality, and mentoring staff to improve performance and productivity. The job demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Responsibilities extend beyond just team supervision; the supervisor must also handle point-of-sale system duties such as managing voids, comps, splitting checks, and gratuities, as well as troubleshooting minor technical issues linked to POS or equipment. Moreover, compliance with all liquor laws and franchise agreements is mandatory. This role provides the opportunity to contribute directly to a positive customer experience by ensuring that the restaurant is well-stocked, all team members are knowledgeable of the menu and specials, and the environment is maintained to high standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of supervisory experience as a supervisor/manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- ability to acquire a valid Health Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification within 60 days of hire
- ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- ability to calculate basic math functions as they relate to POS and inventory
- ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
- ability to work in a team-oriented fast-paced environment
- availability to work varied schedules including events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of supervisory experience as a supervisor/manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- 2-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume food court, casual, buffet, and/or nightclub in a supervisory capacity is preferred
- must acquire and maintain a valid Health Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification within 60 days of hire
- ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory
- ability to communicate with team members, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
Job Duties
- Follow all Chickie's & Pete's service, operational, and company standards
- provide support to General Manager in daily operations of the restaurant
- ensure team members maintain knowledge of the menu and any specials being offered and provide updates of any changes
- supervise the team in maintaining a clean and presentable work area and ensure the venues are stocked and prepared for service at all times
- comply and ensure compliance with liquor laws regarding alcohol service where applicable
- comply with all departmental food and franchise contractual agreements
- perform POS duties in regards to voids, comps, splitting checks, gratuities
- coordinate in troubleshooting technical problems with Point of Sale (POS) system, facilities, equipment, etc., and contact for appropriate support as necessary
- provide on-going supervision and mentoring to team members
- monitor product quality and ensure high level of guest service
- maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules per business need
- communicate in a positive, respectful manner to both internal and external guests
