Job Duties
- Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner
- present menus, explain menu items, daily features, and beverage offerings, make recommendations based on guest preferences
- accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper presentation
- anticipate guest needs by monitoring tables throughout the dining experience
- respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns, escalating issues to management when appropriate
- present guest checks, process payments accurately, and thank guests for their visit
- prepare dining areas before service, including setting tables and ensuring stations are fully stocked
- coordinate with hosts, bartenders, server assistants, and culinary team members to ensure efficient and seamless service
- maintain clean and organized service stations throughout each shift
- complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities
- assist with table maintenance, clearing, and resetting as needed
- maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and daily specials
- demonstrate knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to provide recommendations and pairings
