The position of Title Processing Specialist based in Macon, GA, offers an opportunity to work full-time with an hourly wage of $17.37 or an annual salary of approximately $35,000. This role is vital within GEICO's Salvage Team, focused on providing exemplary customer service and efficient processing of vehicle salvage claims. Title Processing Specialists play a critical role in facilitating smooth claims handling after a vehicle is declared a total loss, helping customers navigate through what can be a challenging and emotional time. This position requires interaction with salvage yards, financial institutions, and internal company teams to ensure all paperwork is properly compiled and that claims payments are accurately issued.

Employees in this role undergo thorough paid training spanning 16 weeks, with an initial 8 weeks of classroom instruction and a subsequent 8 weeks of hands-on experience in the call center environment. The work schedule includes weekday evening shifts, with no weekend or holiday requirements, providing a balanced work-life arrangement. Additionally, after meeting department standards and completing training, associates may qualify to work from home one day per week. This in-office role demands a professional, customer-service-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and computer proficiency. Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to commute to 4295 Ocmulgee East Boulevard Macon, GA 31295
  • Prior experience in call center or customer-facing role preferred
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and manage high-volume workloads
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with mid-day evening shifts
  • Full-time commitment of 38 hours and 45 minutes per week
  • Completion of 16-week paid training program including 8 weeks classroom and 8 weeks nesting in call center
  • Must not require sponsorship for employment authorization
