The Premium Suite Runner role is a vital part-time position located at the Augusta Green Jackets stadium, SRP Park, in North Augusta, SC. This position plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation and presentation of premium suites and club areas during live events. The Premium Suite Runner supports Suite Attendants by preparing, stocking, and maintaining the Pantry with necessary supplies, utensils, and food items. This includes the setup and execution of preordered food and beverage deliveries, monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of service areas and equipment, and assisting serving staff in delivering orders to guests’ tables and suites. The role requires a high degree of attention to sanitation, health, and safety standards while staying responsive to the dynamic event environment. The Premium Suite Runner maintains excellent attendance and reliably supports event schedules to ensure top-quality service.
This position is offered with an hourly wage ranging from $11.00 to $13.00, plus tips, which creates a rewarding compensation opportunity for part-time employment. Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- previous experience as a Runner a plus
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit based upon your age
- all alcohol servers must provide proof of completion of state-approved alcohol server training and valid alcohol server certification upon hire, or complete such training from an approved provider within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Prepares the suite and premium Pantry
- responsible for keeping the restaurant/catering work areas and equipment clean
- assists the Suite Attendants and Servers
- responsible for setting tables and reservations
- assists serving staff in delivering orders to guests' tables and suites
- responsible for keeping the suite work areas and equipment clean
- responsible for assisting in the setup of the Suites and Restaurant
- maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
- additional duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or OVG management staff for the successful outcome of an event or customer service situation
