This state-of-the-art minor league ballpark is nestled in the heart of North Augusta's vibrant downtown district, offering stunning river views and surrounded by shopping and dining options. SRP Park has been acclaimed as the best minor league ballpark, making it a popular destination not just for baseball fans but also for hosting concerts, corporate events, and private parties, establishing itself as a pivotal entertainment hub in the region.
The Premium Suite Runner role at SRP Park is a part-time, regular position that offers an hourly wage between $11.00 and $13.00, with additional eligibility for tips. This position reports to the hospitality management team and plays a vital role in supporting Suite Attendants and servers in delivering a seamless and premium guest experience. The Suite Runner's responsibilities include preparing and stocking the pantry with necessary products, utensils, and supplies to ensure the suites are well-equipped before and during events. Additional duties involve setting up preordered food and beverage items, assisting the serving staff with orders delivery to guests, and ensuring all pantry and suite areas are clean and properly restocked post-event.
This position requires a proactive individual who can maintain excellent attendance and the flexibility to work events as scheduled. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Possess a valid food handling certificate
- Possess a valid state-approved alcohol server certification or ability to acquire within 30 days
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Demonstrated excellent attendance record
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Previous experience as a runner a plus
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit based upon your age
- All alcohol servers must provide proof of completion of state-approved alcohol server training and valid alcohol server certification upon hire, or complete such training from an approved provider within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Prepares the suite and premium pantry
- Responsible for keeping the restaurant catering work areas and equipment clean
- Assists the suite attendants and servers
- Responsible for setting tables and reservations
- Assists serving staff in delivering orders to guests' tables and suites
- Responsible for keeping the suite work areas and equipment clean

- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
- Additional duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor and or OVG management staff for the successful outcome of an event or customer service situation
