Job Requirements
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- 3-5 years of related experience preferred
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Advanced food service sanitation training certification preferred
- Familiarity with inventory control and event operations
- Basic computer proficiency including email, Excel, Word, Outlook, scheduling systems, and event management software
- Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale and timekeeping systems
- Strong cash-handling abilities and basic math skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years experience in concessions, catering, food service, hospitality, event operations, or food preparation preferred
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Nationally recognized advanced food service sanitation certification preferred
- Familiarity with inventory control, menu planning, and event operations
- Basic computer skills including email, Excel, Word, Outlook, scheduling, and event management software
- Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale and timekeeping systems
- Strong cash-handling and math skills
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Manage catering and premium food and beverage operations including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, ordering, inventory, labor costs and equipment maintenance
- Oversee catering, restaurant, and suite operations
- Directly supervise Catering Manager and part-time staff
- Manage inventory control
- Handle client relations and communications for events
- Create banquet event orders, invoices, and perform administrative duties
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional, and profitable venue operations
- Generate and review financial reports including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, labor and product costs, wage control, P&L statements
- Resolve conflicts and handle labor negotiations as applicable
- Oversee food service quality and guest experience during events
- Assist with event setup, service, breakdown, and post-event follow-up
- Provide direction, supervision, and mentoring of hourly event staff and volunteers
- Monitor product quality, presentation, service standards, and guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service policies and monitor alcohol service for 100% compliance
- Report alcohol service issues to management immediately
- Troubleshoot technical issues with Point-of-Sale systems
- Create event employee schedules and verify employee time
- Support training, development, and supervision of hourly employees
- Maintain documentation related to employee performance and attendance
- Communicate effectively with culinary staff, event staff, clients, vendors, and guests
- Assist with inventory control, product movement, menu execution, and event preparation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Ensure efficient and professional event execution aligned with company service standards
- Execute all directives in Banquet Event Orders
- Manage event advancement and professional communication with all event stakeholders
- Handle administrative paperwork such as diagrams, timelines, and side-work assignments
- Maintain tableware and linens
- Identify menu ingredients and preparation methods
- Assist in banquet function setup including linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware
- Monitor guest needs before, during, and after meals
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
- Ensure excellent attendance and operational readiness of location equipment
- Recognize and manage intoxicated guests appropriately
- Lead premium/catering team on projects including training and inventory
- Enforce all company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by General Manager
