The Pastry Cook position at Allegiant Stadium is a part-time role offering an hourly wage between $18.85 and $23.56, as determined by the collective bargaining agreement. This role is scheduled to expire on September 4, 2026. It is a regular part-time position that demands dedication to high food quality standards and operational excellence in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, often requiring work during nights, weekends, and holidays.

As a Pastry Cook at this venue, you will be responsible for preparing a wide array of high-quality pastry and dessert items, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and freshness. You will play a critical role in upholding food safety and sanitation standards while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste. Your duties will include using standard kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, convection ovens, and mixers, while adhering strictly to recipes and portioning guidelines provided by the culinary team.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in pastry cooking or related culinary roles preferred
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Card
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to maintaining sanitation and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Able to operate standard kitchen equipment including deep fryer, convection oven, mixer, immersion blender, scale, and chef knife
  • Ability to read, follow, and execute recipes and convert recipe quantities

  • Able to lift and move heavy objects

Job Duties

  • Provide high-quality, fresh pastry products in a timely manner for delivery to guests
