The Pastry Cook position at Allegiant Stadium offers a unique opportunity to be part of this dynamic environment where entertainment meets culinary excellence. This part-time role is focused on preparing high-quality pastry products and other menu items in a fast-paced, event-driven setting. The successful candidate must maintain strict adherence to food quality standards, portion control, and sanitation procedures, ensuring impeccable guest satisfaction. Flexibility is essential, as the work schedule will vary according to event demands, and will include nights and weekends. The Pastry Cook must also be vigilant in maintaining kitchen equipment, reporting issues promptly, and preserving sanitation, health, and safety standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in pastry or culinary preparation preferred
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Valid Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Card required
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Must maintain excellent attendance record
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Able to operate kitchen equipment including deep fryer, convection oven, mixer, immersion blender, scale, and chef knife
- Ability to read, follow, and execute recipes and convert them for proper product amounts
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Able to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Possess or obtain a valid Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Card
- Knowledge of sanitation, food prep guidelines, alcohol service policies, and safety standards
- Ability to adhere to high standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
