The company is distinguished by its commitment to innovation and excellence in the live entertainment industry, serving a wide range of clients by delivering unforgettable event experiences.
One of OVG's premier facilities is the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina. This expansive and versatile multi-building complex serves as a vital hub for the local community and surrounding regions. With nine distinct venues, including the massive 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, the 167,000-square-foot Special Events Center, White Oak Amphitheatre, Piedmont Hall, and the Odeon Theatre, the Greensboro Coliseum hosts an impressive array of events. These include athletic competitions, cultural arts presentations, concerts, theatre productions, educational programs, fairs, and trade shows. The complex holds a significant economic and cultural role, offering entertainment, educational, and community engagement opportunities, underscoring its status as a cornerstone of Greensboro's public life.
The Parking Lot Attendant position at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a part-time, regular role that offers an hourly wage of $15.00 to $17.00. This role is essential to the smooth operation of parking lots during various events, ensuring visitors have a safe, efficient, and positive experience from the moment they arrive. Parking Lot Attendants act as the initial point of contact for guests, tasked with directing vehicles to appropriate parking spaces, facilitating smooth traffic flow, and maintaining overall safety and security of the parking areas. The role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the capacity to communicate effectively with the public and team members.
In addition to operational duties such as setting up signage, cones, and reserved parking markers, attendants must be vigilant in monitoring parking lots during events, quickly identifying and resolving any issues by promptly notifying supervisors. The role demands flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours, in all weather conditions. Being the welcoming face for event attendees, it is crucial that attendants maintain professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness to support a memorable experience for every visitor. The position also provides part-time benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, reflecting OVG's commitment to supporting its workforce.
Joining OVG means becoming part of an inclusive and diverse team dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and community impact. With its emphasis on equal employment opportunity and celebration of diversity, OVG strives to create a workplace that reflects the rich communities it serves. The Parking Lot Attendant role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking a dynamic, people-oriented position within the live entertainment industry, contributing significantly to the event experience at a landmark venue like the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. This position will remain open until October 9, 2026, offering potential candidates ample time to apply and embark on a rewarding part-time career with a globally respected company.
