The Parking Ambassador role is a part-time position located at the Civic Centre Parkade in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a pay rate between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour. This role focuses on enhancing the parking experience for venue guests by providing efficient and courteous service. Parking Ambassadors are entrusted with managing vehicle flow within the parking facilities, processing cashless transactions, and validating pre-sold parking passes to ensure seamless entry and exit experiences. In this position, candidates will play a crucial role in guest services by directing vehicles to designated parking stalls and managing traffic within the venue's parking lots and roadways. Responsibilities also include conducting routine vehicle inventory counts, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with basic upkeep of the parking area such as litter removal and sweeping. Flexibility to work on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and during early or late hours is essential, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • At least one year of previous experience

  • Flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, evenings, weekends, early mornings, and late nights
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Job Duties

  • Match the guest's parking pass and provide real-time guidance to the parking location
  • Process cashless guest payments
  • Direct vehicles on arena campus roadways and through parking lots and to parking stalls
  • Conduct routine vehicle inventory counts before and during events
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and employees promptly and in a friendly manner
  • Perform duties to ensure productive parking operations, including moving equipment such as traffic cones, barrels, delineators, movable signage, and barricades
  • Follow and comply with safety regulations and standards
  • Provide basic parking lot upkeep including sweeping and light litter removal
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure productive operations, quality service, and customer satisfaction
