One of the prominent venues under OVG’s management is the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center located in Tallahassee, Florida. This venue features a 12,500-seat arena, equipped with 34 luxury suites, 476 club seats, over 54,000 square feet of meeting and exhibition space, and an arena-view restaurant known as the Spotlight Grille. The arena serves as a home for Florida State University men’s and women’s basketball teams and hosts a variety of high-energy events such as concerts, trade shows, large catered gatherings, religious services, and educational classes. The Operations Supervisor is a key position within this venue, tasked with overseeing the operational aspects related to event setup and facility management. This full-time role, paying an hourly wage of $19.00 to $22.00, involves supervising and coordinating all aspects of event setups, including changeovers and conversions. The Operations Supervisor ensures the smooth hiring, training, and scheduling of event support and changeover staff, including stagehands and stand-by personnel, to support the successful execution of events. This role also requires active participation in the maintenance and organization of the facility's equipment and storage areas, guaranteeing that all event-related materials are in excellent working condition and easily accessible.

In addition to staff management and operational duties, the Operations Supervisor collaborates closely with other departments to forecast and manage budget requirements, assist in purchasing event equipment, and oversee payroll processes through scheduling management programs. The role also demands adherence to safety guidelines for all staff, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment during event operations. This position occasionally requires working beyond normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate event schedules.
