Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, established in 2015. The company operates a vast platform that includes venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. OVG manages a portfolio of seven world-class owned venues and provides services to some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Oak View Group is recognized for its innovative approach to the live entertainment industry, combining state-of-the-art infrastructure with comprehensive service offerings that elevate experiences for venues and audiences alike.
Blue Arena & The Ranch Events Complex, located in Loveland, Colorado, is one of OVG's managed venues. Blue Arena is a 6,800-seat multipurpose facility that opened in September 2003 and serves as the home of the Colorado Eagles, an American Hockey League team. Owned by Larimer County, the arena is part of the larger Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex known as The Ranch, which spans 374,000 square feet. This versatile venue hosts a diverse range of events including hockey, basketball, football, family shows, rodeos, concerts, trade shows, and many other configurations, making it the premier destination for sports and entertainment in Northern Colorado. It is conveniently located less than an hour from Denver and Cheyenne, reinforcing its role as a key hub for community and regional events.
The Manager of Partnerships & Premium Seating role at Blue Arena & The Ranch Events Complex is a full-time, regular position with a salary range of $52,500 to $62,500 annually plus commission opportunities based on meeting sales targets. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through selling and servicing all premium seating clients and managing fully integrated sponsorship packages across the entire complex. The successful candidate will be a proactive, disciplined sales professional with a strong focus on generating new business revenue from local, regional, and national companies while also nurturing existing partnerships.
Key to this position is collaboration with various stakeholders including the Director of Partnerships, the General Manager, and the VP of OVG Global Partnerships to develop and execute strategic, sustainable plans aimed at increasing premium seating and partnership revenue streams. The role requires frequent outreach and engagement with corporate clients, designing tailored sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction through consistent communication and delivery of premium services. The Manager will also be responsible for activating sponsorships that include marketing rights, on-premises signage, event promotions, and selective media exposure, thereby enhancing the overall value offered to partners.
The role demands excellent relationship-building skills, the ability to conduct sales presentations off-site, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support event activations. It also involves close coordination with venue staff and other departments such as legal, accounting, marketing, community relations, and ticket operations, ensuring seamless execution of all corporate sales initiatives.
Oak View Group emphasizes diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, recognizing that a diverse team drives innovation and excellence. They are committed to creating an environment that reflects and celebrates the communities they serve. This role not only offers an opportunity to advance your sales career in a dynamic and growing live entertainment organization but also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching, and paid time off including vacation, sick days, and holidays. The position will remain open until October 23, 2026, inviting candidates eager to join a forward-thinking company dedicated to transforming the live entertainment landscape.
