The Manager of Partnerships & Premium Seating role at Blue Arena and The Ranch Events Complex is a dynamic full-time position focusing on expanding and servicing premium seating clients as well as managing corporate partnerships and sponsorship agreements. This position is essential to the financial success and brand visibility of the venues, directly contributing to revenue growth through strategic sales efforts and relationship building. The role involves the proactive selling and servicing of premium seating, working closely with local, regional, and national companies to develop fully integrated sponsorships. These sponsorships encompass a combination of marketing rights, on-site signage, event sponsorships, promotional activities, event marketing, and selective media exposure.
This position offers an annual salary range from $52,500 to $62,500, with additional commissionable incentives tied to sales performance. Responsibilities include prospecting, selling, activating, and maintaining corporate sponsorships and premium seating partnerships, designing customized sales proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely implementation of partner branding and promotional materials. The role requires continuous engagement with corporate partners, event teams, and internal departments to ensure the fulfillment of partnership objectives and high-quality experiences for premium seating clients. The manager will also oversee the service delivery for premium seating and partnerships through direct interactions, newsletters, partner events, and client entertainment initiatives.
Highly collaborative and communicative, this position also demands significant flexibility, as the manager will work various events during weeknights and weekends to prepare premium activations and provide excellent client servicing. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5+ years of relevant sales or sponsorship experience
- Proven track record of generating new business and client retention
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel and conduct sales presentations off-site
- Experience with corporate sponsorship sales preferred
Job Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales, advertising or sports and/or event sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in sales, public relations, business administration, hospitality management, or other related fields
- Corporate sales or premium seating sales experience within the region preferred
- Proven track record of generating new business and retaining clients
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong professional relationship skills
- ability to establish and maintain long-term strategic relationships with corporate clients, direct reports, and co-workers
- Ability to spend time on the road conducting sales pitches to new prospective clients
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required
- Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders, and other senior executives
Job Duties
- Work with the Director of Partnerships, General Manager, and VP of OVG Global Partnerships to develop a strategic, sustainable plan to drive premium seating and partnership revenue for the complex
- Prospect, sell, activate and maintain corporate sponsorships, advertising and premium seating partnerships for the venue
- Work with venue staff and Regional Vice President to implement the goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of all corporate sales programs and activities
- Regularly engage in the business of making sales, and presentations away from the primary place of business
- Design sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners
- Prepare advertising, sponsorship, and premium seating contracts and addenda
- identify issues with contract language
- address issues with and make recommendations for resolution
- and negotiate corporate sales pricing and other rates as required
- Achieve corporate partnership revenue goals and budgets
