The company manages a collection of seven world-class venues and serves a prestigious client base that includes some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. OVG is dedicated to establishing and maintaining superior live entertainment experiences, supported by innovative operational strategies and a commitment to excellence.
The Blue Arena located in Loveland, Colorado, seeks a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join their team on a part-time basis. This role pays an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 and is designed for individuals passionate about food preparation in a dynamic, event-driven hospitality environment. The Line Cook will play a critical role in preparing high-quality meals that align with OVG’s high standards and customer service expectations.
As a Line Cook at the Blue Arena, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing both hot and cold food items, following strict company recipes and portioning requirements to ensure consistency and quality. The role involves working directly in public-facing areas such as buffet lines, requiring the cook to maintain professionalism and excellent communication skills when interacting with guests. The position demands the ability to work well under pressure during events, ensuring timely food delivery and maintaining an energetic team-oriented atmosphere.
The Line Cook will contribute to menu planning and food consumption forecasting in consultation with executive kitchen leadership, including the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Kitchen Supervisor. Additionally, maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas is a top priority to comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Reporting any required maintenance for kitchen equipment and ensuring all foods are correctly cooked and presented with appropriate garnishes are key responsibilities.
This part-time position offers valuable benefits including a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, supporting employees’ financial futures. The role requires excellent attendance and availability for scheduled events as business demands. Oak View Group promotes diversity and inclusion, recognizing that a diverse workforce drives innovation, enhances service, and raises excellence. The company is committed to equal employment opportunity, providing an inclusive workplace that respects and celebrates differences across all legally protected classes.
Overall, the Line Cook position at the Blue Arena offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a global leader in live entertainment, where culinary skills meet high customer service standards in an exciting and supportive environment. Candidates will enjoy working in fast-paced settings, contributing meaningfully to memorable guest experiences at one of the premier venues in Loveland, Colorado.
