Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a leading global company specializing in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Established in 2015, OVG has rapidly become a dominant force in venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales across a wide range of live entertainment platforms. The company manages and operates an impressive array of seven world-class venues and boasts a client roster that includes some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions worldwide. With its footprint spanning four continents, OVG emphasizes innovation, exceptional service, and memorable experiences for guests and partners alike. The organization’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity creates a dynamic, collaborative culture that fosters growth and excellence in all areas of operation.
The Line Cook position at the Blue Arena in Loveland, Colorado, offers a unique opportunity to join a top-tier entertainment company as part of its concessions and premium seating team. This is a regular part-time role, designed for individuals passionate about food preparation and dedicated to delivering high-quality, fresh food items efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. The Line Cook plays a critical role in ensuring guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences during various events hosted at the venue. Working in this position means having direct contact with the public, which includes engaging with guests while preparing meals along buffet lines and crafting dishes to order.
The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $24.00, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering competitive compensation for its staff. Furthermore, part-time employees are eligible for benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, supporting long-term financial wellness. Being part of the OVG team means embracing a culture that prioritizes attendance, reliability, and teamwork; the Line Cook must demonstrate excellent attendance and a readiness to work scheduled events as needed to meet business demands.
Daily responsibilities include preparing both hot and cold foods using company-approved recipes and portion guidelines, maintaining sanitary and safety standards in all kitchen areas, and ensuring proper cooking and food presentation. The Line Cook collaborates closely with kitchen leadership—such as the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor—to plan menus and accurately estimate food consumption for upcoming events. This role demands strong communication skills, the ability to work cohesively within a team, and a keen attention to detail when plating and garnishing dishes.
Oak View Group’s inclusive philosophy encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply, emphasizing how diversity drives innovation and excellence in service delivery. The company maintains strict equal employment opportunity policies, guaranteeing a workplace free of discrimination based on veteran status, race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, or other protected characteristics. For individuals eager to join an industry leader in live entertainment and hospitality with a clear pathway for growth, the Line Cook position at Blue Arena represents an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills while contributing to unforgettable guest experiences.
