Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader specializing in live entertainment infrastructure and services, with operations that span venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, OVG has quickly established itself by managing world-class arenas, stadiums, convention centers, and other cultural venues across four continents. One of their notable venues is SRP Park, located in North Augusta, South Carolina, which serves as the home stadium for the Augusta Green Jackets baseball team. SRP Park is not only known for its outstanding minor league baseball experience—being voted the best minor league ballpark in 2018—but also for its versatile event hosting capabilities including concerts, office parties, and other public gatherings. Its picturesque location facing the river and surrounded by a vibrant downtown district further enhances its appeal as a premier destination for entertainment and social events.
The part-time Kitchen Supervisor position at SRP Park offers an exciting opportunity to join the Oak View Group’s culinary team in delivering exceptional food service to guests. The role is essential to maintaining the high quality standards of the venue's food and beverage operations. As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will be directly responsible for preparing meats, soups, sauces, and other food items following standard recipes, and leading kitchen staff in their daily tasks. This supervisory role is critical to both the operational success and guest satisfaction at the venue. You will conduct quality checks and ensure timely delivery of fresh food products, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and contribute to controlling food and labor costs. Additionally, the Kitchen Supervisor will assist in inventory management and collaborate with the Executive Chef for menu planning and estimating food consumption.
This role pays an hourly rate between $18.00 and $20.00. Despite being a part-time position, it comes with benefits that include a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, which enhances financial security. The role also requires excellent attendance and availability to work during scheduled events, which can range from sports games to concerts, making flexibility a key attribute for success in this position. The ideal candidate will have culinary training, prior supervisory experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and efficient team environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a vibrant venue known for its community engagement and dynamic event schedule, contributing directly to exceptional guest experiences through quality food and effective kitchen operations.
