The Housekeeper role at University Club Alabama is a part-time, regular position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the facility. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping preferred but not required
- Customer service-focused with willingness to interact with the public during events
- Ability to handle cleaning machines and equipment preferred
- Able to safely use cleaning chemicals
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Wash windows and window sills
- Scrub, strip, and wax floors as scheduled
- Sweep exterior walkways
- Clean and disinfect restrooms including fixtures, tile, mirrors, and floors
- Replace restroom supplies as needed
- Report any damage or maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor
- Show initiative by accepting new responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with others
- Keep outside areas and entrances clean and pick up trash around the perimeter
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor in increasing efficiency and productivity
- Perform other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor
