The Food & Beverage Supervisor position at the Nampa Civic Center is a part-time role offering an hourly wage of $22.00 to $26.00. This position requires a hospitality professional who thrives in high-energy, event-driven environments and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. The supervisor will lead concession and banquet operations during various events, ensuring superior food service and operational excellence from setup to cleanup. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally
- Basic computer skills including POS systems
- Ability to lift and stand for extended periods
- ServSafe Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, catering, banquet, or event operations
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory management, and responsible alcohol service practices
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and service excellence
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event needs
- ServSafe Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lead by example, take initiative, and contribute to a positive team culture
