The company’s portfolio covers seven owned venues, as well as clients that include some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Known for its innovative approach to the live entertainment industry, OVG fosters exciting experiences for millions of fans worldwide by creating environments that are safe, engaging, and memorable.
The Rio Rancho Events Center (RREC) located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is one of the notable venues managed under the Oak View Group umbrella. Opened in October 2006, the RREC is a large multi-purpose facility seating up to 7,000 guests, hosting a diverse range of events such as concerts, sporting events, family shows, conferences, banquets, and cultural programs. The venue is home to the New Mexico Goatheads of the ECHL and features extensive floor space, suites, and club lounges, making it an essential entertainment hub in the region.
As an Event Staff member at the Rio Rancho Events Center, you will play a critical role in shaping the guest experience during various events throughout the year. This part-time role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in different areas of the arena, such as ushering, ticket scanning, guest services on the concourse, and greeting attendees. The position requires being a visible and approachable presence, helping guests navigate the venue, ensuring their safety, and maintaining a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Hourly pay ranges from $13.50 to $14.50, with additional benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching available for part-time employees.
This role suits individuals who enjoy interacting with people, can think on their feet, and are committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will be responsible for preparing your assigned section for guests, ensuring that all seats and areas are safe and clean. At the start of events, you will welcome fans with a friendly demeanor and assist in ticket scanning and seat location. Being alert to potential hazards and promptly reporting incidents will be a key part of your duties to maintain a secure environment for everyone. Additionally, you will be expected to manage foot traffic effectively, respond professionally to guest concerns, assist patrons with disabilities in ADA-accessible seating, and enforce venue policies.
The Rio Rancho Events Center is committed to inclusivity and diversity, recognizing that a varied team enhances service quality and innovation. Oak View Group upholds equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on any protected class, contributing to a welcoming and respectful workplace. This evergreen opportunity accepts applications on a rolling basis, making it an excellent choice for individuals seeking part-time employment in a dynamic entertainment setting.
