This role demands a highly organized, proactive leader who can manage everything from high-profile concerts to in-house and amphitheater events, ensuring each is executed flawlessly. You will be the pivotal on-site liaison between event promoters and the venue staff, overseeing every phase of the event lifecycle, from initial planning through move-in, event day operations, and move-out.\n\nYour expertise will be vital in preparing detailed event outlines, operational plans, and scaled drawings of event spaces, as well as coordinating the allocation of equipment, personnel, and services tailored to each event’s unique needs. You will supervise both facility employees and external contractors, adapting swiftly to fluctuating circumstances such as security challenges, attendance variances, weather conditions, or last-minute changes. A significant part of your role involves financial stewardship, managing budgets, preparing expense reports, and supporting the business department with financial settlements.\n\nThis position calls for a professional with excellent leadership skills, capable of managing complex event logistics in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will need to build and maintain strong working relationships across internal divisions, contracted vendors, promoters, and high-profile touring agencies. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- 3-5 years of event management experience
- knowledge of sports and entertainment venue operations

Job Qualifications

- excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

- knowledge of current concert tours, conventions, and trade shows including concert production trends

Job Duties
- Serve as primary on-site contact with the promoter for events ranging in gross revenue to potentially in excess of $1M
- Act as primary on-site contact for the planning of the event, the move-in of the event into the facility, the actual event, and the move-out of the event
- Frequently adapt to all internal and external resources to often-changing scenarios
- Supervise facility operations, including outside contractors and facility employees, during the event
- Determine staffing requirements and react to changes brought on by security concerns, fluctuations in attendance, weather, and cancellations/late arrivals
- Assume a high level of financial/budgetary responsibility and act quickly to make sound financial and practical/operational decisions regarding changes
- Develop detailed operational and financial plans and diagrams for the Published Event Document and distribute to facility personnel for implementation
- Oversee division staffing throughout the event and coordinate with resources to meet fluctuating needs of tenants, performers, and promoters
- Coordinate with in-house and third-party security and food vendors to assure optimal patron satisfaction
- Coordinate event preparation with event prep supervisors, crew, and management
- Assist tenants in arranging supportive services and represent facility management in resolving problems
- Monitor assigned event requirements in relation to other events and activities throughout the complex
- Exhibit working knowledge of event-related and departmental procedures to facilitate coordination
- Prepare and correlate lessee expense information to support Finance Department in financial settlements
- Exercise resource stewardship and report irregularities to management to ensure compliance
- Perform all assigned and related duties.
