Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a world leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, operating a comprehensive platform that encompasses venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, OVG manages a diverse portfolio of world-class venues including arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Renowned for its expertise in delivering outstanding event experiences, OVG collaborates with some of the most iconic entertainment and sports brands worldwide. This unique position allows OVG to offer opportunities in a dynamic environment driven by innovation, operational excellence, and a commitment to community engagement and inclusivity.
One of OVG's key managed venues is the Blue Arena located at The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colorado. The Blue Arena is a multifaceted, 6,800-seat venue that opened in 2003 and serves as the home of the Colorado Eagles American Hockey League team. Hosting a variety of events such as hockey games, basketball, rodeos, family shows, concerts, trade shows, and more, the venue is central to Northern Colorado's sports and entertainment scene. The Blue Arena forms part of the larger 374,000 square-foot Ranch facility, which includes multiple arenas, livestock pavilions, exhibition buildings, and serves as a hub for sports, entertainment, and agriculture in the fast-growing region.
The Event Housekeeper position at the Blue Arena is a part-time role focused on supporting the upkeep and cleanliness of the venue to ensure a safe, inviting, and professional environment for guests, staff, and event clients. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the housekeeper is responsible for a wide range of janitorial duties including vacuuming, trash disposal, surface cleaning, and restroom maintenance. The role requires working varied shifts, including day, evening, and night hours to accommodate the event schedule, with weekly hours dependent on availability and the specific needs of events.
In this role, the Event Housekeeper operates various cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, and pressure washers, demonstrating proficiency with industry-standard sanitation techniques and safety standards. The housekeeper must also manage janitorial inventory, maintain cleaning tools, and collaborate closely with the operations team to meet event timelines and cleanliness standards. Attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced event environments, and excellent communication skills are essential to succeed in this position.
The job offers competitive hourly pay between $21.00 and $22.50, along with part-time benefits including a 401(k) savings plan with matching and accrued paid leave based on hours worked. Oak View Group embraces diversity and inclusion as core to its mission, fostering a workplace culture that values different backgrounds and perspectives to drive innovation and excellence. The Event Housekeeper role is critical to maintaining a world-class venue experience, making an important contribution to the successful delivery of entertainment and community events at the Blue Arena.
