The Event Coordinator role at the Nampa Civic Center is a full-time position integral to the successful planning, coordination, and execution of events at the venue. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event management, including coordinating with promoters, show representatives, and sports teams, managing labor and security staffing plans, preparing billing and event data sheets, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. The Event Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact for event logistics, ensuring all event-related activities contribute to an outstanding guest experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts, to meet the dynamic needs of live events. Job Requirements
- 4-year degree from a college or university preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in the same or similar position in arenas, convention centers, stadiums or theaters preferred
- Ability to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, CAD, and Ticketmaster ticketing software preferred
- Previous experience preparing Event Data Sheets a plus

Job Duties
- Advance each show/event with appropriate show/promoter representatives in a timely fashion
- Communicate all event information to the appropriate departments and staff
- Develop accurate event seating information with the box office manager and operations manager and ensure that event set-ups are accurate
- Communicate in a timely manner with each department head regarding specific needs and information for each event
- Prepare and distribute the Event Data Sheet to all staff and departments in a timely manner
- Prepare post-event reports for all events coordinated
- Meet with facility sports tenants to collect and distribute game requirements and coordinate efforts to produce tenant events
- Work with promoters and agents to coordinate and facilitate client needs for each event and provide cost estimates as required/requested
- Prepare and submit expenses for event settlements
- Attend settlements if required
- Execute other operational duties as assigned
