Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a globally recognized leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Established in 2015, Oak View Group has quickly grown to be a pioneering company managing a broad spectrum of arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. The company prides itself on its comprehensive expertise, spanning venue development, venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Headquartered in the United States, OVG is distinctly positioned as an innovator focused on transforming the live entertainment industry by delivering world-class experiences that connect diverse communities around shared interests and passions.

The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, located in Tallahassee, Florida, is part of the prestigious network of venues managed by Oak View Group. This venue hosts a variety of events including concerts, sports, and community gatherings, making it a dynamic and fast-paced environment committed to exceptional guest service and operational excellence.

The role of a Dishwasher at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center is a vital part-time position that plays a key role in ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards within all food service operations. Dishwashers are responsible for washing and sanitizing tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares, all of which are essential to maintaining a smooth and hygienic food service workflow. This hourly position pays $15.50 and offers part-time employees benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching.

As a Dishwasher, you will be expected to maintain excellent attendance and demonstrate flexibility with availability to work at various events as scheduled based on business needs. This role involves consistent application of food safety policies, including adherence to M.S.D.S. criteria and thorough sanitation practices to minimize contamination risk. You will also assist with maintaining clean and organized loading and receiving areas and may occasionally step in to help with food preparation tasks when required.

The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and event-driven environment. Experience working in a kitchen setting is helpful but not mandatory, as the role emphasizes attentiveness, cooperation, and communication with co-workers, management, and guests. The ability to operate standard kitchen equipment such as broilers, steamers, convection ovens, mixers, meat slicers, and using chef knives enhances performance in this role.

At Oak View Group, diversity and inclusion are deeply valued as core strengths that drive innovation and elevate the quality of service and excellence. The company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all candidates, fostering an inclusive culture where every voice is amplified and celebrated. Joining OVG means becoming part of a community dedicated to positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry while honoring the diversity of the audiences and communities served.

This position will remain open until August 28, 2026, inviting motivated individuals to apply and contribute to a leading organization in the live entertainment sector.
