The Convention Center prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and event execution, contributing to the region's vibrant cultural and entertainment landscape.
The Cook position at the Sioux Falls Convention Center is a part-time role that plays a critical part in the execution of food preparation and service within the venue. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the Cook is responsible for preparing, organizing, and producing food items for a wide range of events including banquets, concessions, and private parties. The role requires adherence to stringent sanitation and food safety standards, ensuring that all meals meet the quality expectations set by Oak View Group and ClubCorp. The Cook also undertakes daily and weekly cleaning and production assignments as directed, helping maintain the kitchen and work environment in optimal condition.
This position offers an hourly wage of $17.00 to $20.00, depending on experience and qualifications, and is tip eligible. Additionally, part-time employees benefit from a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, enabling financial growth alongside their employment.
