Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of relevant kitchen experience
- ability to follow directions and communicate clearly
- capacity to work in a fast-paced indoor environment
- physical ability to lift and move heavy items
- flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, and holidays
- commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of kitchen experience as prep cook or line cook
- ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
- experience working in indoor, fast-paced kitchen environments
- capability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects
- availability to work additional hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prep and organize private parties, concessions, and banquet events
- prepare and store all necessary food items in adherence to quality standards
- maintain required quantity of items such as dressings, salsas, soups, etc.
- communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef regarding orders, inventory, or food quality issues
- consistently prepare and present food items according to established standards and portion sizes
- practice safe food handling and personal hygiene including proper dress code
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen, including equipment and tools
- communicate member or guest complaints to supervisors
- interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests
- assist with multiple kitchen functions as needed due to fluctuating demands
- adhere to company policies, standards of operations, and safety procedures
- multi-task and work efficiently to meet business needs
- follow instructions accurately
- maintain good conduct and safe work habits at all times
- wear clean and neat uniform according to standards
