The Concierge role at the Naismith Club within the University of Kansas Social Club is a pivotal position focused on enhancing the Member Experience Team's efforts. As a part-time role, this position compensates between $13.00 to $16.00 per hour and is eligible for tips, making it an attractive opportunity for professionals passionate about providing outstanding hospitality and service. The responsibilities include guiding members and guests within the club premises, providing comprehensive information about club services, reservations, amenities, and upcoming events. The Concierge is responsible for managing various administrative duties such as handling appointments, scheduling, maintaining cleanliness and order at the front desk and lobby areas, and managing supplies to ensure seamless service delivery. Additionally, the concierge supports business services like faxing, copying, and mailing while owning each request to completion. The role also involves assisting with member communications through newsletters, managing message-on-hold duties, website calendar updates, outbound member calls, and marketing collateral to keep members informed and engaged.
This position requires a proactive individual with a strong service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms, including verbal, written, phone, text, and social media. Attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability to new technologies, and a positive team-oriented attitude are essential components for success.
