The role of Concessions Lead at Synovus Park is a crucial part-time position focused on overseeing food and beverage operations during events. This role requires a personable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is dedicated to ensuring exceptional guest service and efficient concessions management. The Concessions Lead will supervise various concession stands, bars, and portable food and beverage locations within the ballpark, ensuring they are fully stocked, sanitized, and operating smoothly.

In addition to overseeing daily operations, the Concessions Lead plays a significant role in training employees and volunteers, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to overall event success. This position supports the Concessions Manager and broader OVG leadership team with training initiatives, inventory control, and the execution of special events. Integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances are essential for success in this role.

This role pays an hourly wage of $16.00 to $18.00 and includes valuable part-time benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. The Concessions Lead is expected to maintain excellent attendance and flexibility to work as scheduled based on event needs, ensuring the venue provides a world-class experience for all guests. The Concessions Lead’s responsibilities include ensuring proper setup of all concession locations before events, managing inventory, assigning duties, maintaining sanitation and operational standards, and closely monitoring the service of alcoholic beverages, including verifying guest IDs and managing intoxicated patrons. Providing outstanding guest interactions, resolving safety concerns, enforcing company policies, and maintaining a positive workplace culture through leadership by example are key facets of this position.

Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a food and beverage environment, possess strong team leadership and communication skills, and hold appropriate food handling or alcohol service certifications. They must be capable of handling cash accurately, operating POS systems, and performing basic math functions related to inventory and sales.
