Job Requirements
- valid bartending experience of at least six months
- ability to handle cash accurately
- ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and long shifts
- must comply with state and federal alcohol serving regulations
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- must maintain professionalism and guest service excellence
- physically capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
Job Qualifications
- six months or more bartending experience
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- bartending school preferred
- accurate cash handling skills
- ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- self-directed while working in team settings
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and long hours
Job Duties
- demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal alcohol regulations
- possess knowledge of various beer wine and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
- check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase
- communicate cut-offs to guests as required
- listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
- request additional or restock products as needed
- maintain responsible management of issued bar bank
- keep workstation clean and sanitary and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
- set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
