The Club Manager role at the University of Kansas Social Club is a full-time position designed for an experienced hospitality leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences while driving operational success and revenue growth. The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000. Reporting to the General Manager of Hospitality, the Club Manager will serve as the operational lead, overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Club. Responsibilities include ensuring a seamless and high-standard experience across dining, events, and game day operations, while maintaining strict adherence to club policies and brand standards.

This leadership position requires a dynamic and service-oriented individual who possesses an assistant general manager-level experience or equivalent in hospitality. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing cross-functional teams consisting of Membership Sales Managers, Membership Experience Managers, Private Events Managers, Restaurant Managers, and various front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Strong organizational skills and a collaborative management style are essential to cultivate a culture of service excellence. The Club Manager will also partner closely with University of Kansas stakeholders and community partners, facilitating the Club's integration with campus leadership and athletics.

A major focus of this role is membership growth and engagement. The Club Manager works collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to drive membership acquisition programs, deliver compelling member programming, and implement retention strategies by analyzing usage trends and engaging proactively with members. In addition to the operational duties, the Club Manager holds accountability for financial performance by managing budgets, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement through upgrades, events, and service expansion.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management business administration or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years leadership experience in hospitality private clubs or premium venues

Job Duties
