The ClubLife Concierge at The Baylor Club plays a crucial role within the Member Experience Team, tasked with fostering remarkable experiences for club members through warm welcomes, magical moments, and fond farewells. This part-time role, which pays an hourly rate between $12.00 and $14.00, involves direct engagement with club members to handle reservations, inquiries, event promotions, and personalized services aimed at enhancing member satisfaction. The concierge encourages relationship building and supports key club projects such as birthday campaigns, signature events, and member communications.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift heavy items
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to professional appearance and grooming standards
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality.
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the hospitality industry or a related role
- Service-oriented mindset capable of making every guest feel valued
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written, phone, text, and social media
- Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive phone demeanor and exceptional listening skills
- Competence in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Effective multitasking and time management
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work additional hours including weekends and holidays as required.
Job Duties
- Communicate ClubLife through all channels and take care of members' needs as it relates to reservations, inquiries, preferences
- Speak to members on various topics and promote member events, gatherings, facilities, services, and experiences
- Build relationships and reports with members and guests supporting key ClubLife project work like birthday campaigns, reservations follow-up, and event invitations
- Focus on name recognition and connection with warm welcomes and fond farewells
- Direct members and guests within the club, provide business and concierge services, and proactively create magic moments
- Inform members and guests of club services, features, upcoming events, room locations, and amenities both in person and over the phone
- Assist members in scheduling appointments and reservations for club programs and services
- Maintain lobby, front entrance, and workstation clean and stocked with supplies
- Accommodate member and guest requests for business services including faxing, copying, mailing and manage requests from start to finish
- Support Member Experience initiatives such as newsletters, message on hold, website calendar, event announcements, and promotional materials
- Seat guests
- Adhere to all company, club, and department policies and procedures
- Maintain professional and respectful conduct
- Work safely and participate in daily lineups
- Arrive to work clean and neatly uniformed
- Be open, flexible, and adaptable to changing member and guest needs
- Follow service recovery procedures and report complaints to management
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
