The Baylor Club in Waco, Texas, is currently seeking a part-time ClubLife Concierge to join its Member Experience Team. This role is critical to enhancing and personalizing the experiences of club members by prioritizing warmth, attentive service, and memorable interactions. The ClubLife Concierge serves as the friendly and knowledgeable face of the club, engaging with members before, during, and after their visits to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment. The position pays an hourly wage between $12.00 and $14.00 and offers benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and company matching for part-time employees.
As a ClubLife Concierge, you will be responsible for communicating with members through various channels, managing inquiries and reservations, and promoting events and services to enrich the member experience. Your role involves creating meaningful relationships with members through attentive service, personalized attention, and genuine connections that foster a sense of community within the club. You will also contribute to executing special campaigns such as birthday celebrations and signature events, enhancing the overall atmosphere and engagement of the club.
The position requires outstanding communication and organizational skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. Additionally, you need to be proactive in providing concierge services, assisting with business needs like faxing and copying, and maintaining a welcoming, tidy lobby and front entrance. A positive attitude, flexibility, and readiness to adapt to the changing needs of members and guests are essential qualities for success in this role.
The ClubLife Concierge will also assist with various member experience initiatives including newsletters, message on hold programming, website calendar updates, and marketing collateral to promote club services. Adherence to company policies, safety standards, and professional conduct is paramount. This role involves working closely with the management team, reporting any member or guest concerns promptly, and participating in daily team briefings to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in their appearance and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Duties
- Communicate ClubLife through all channels and take care of members' needs related to reservations, inquiries, and preferences
- Speak to members on various topics and promote member events, gatherings, facilities, services, and experiences
- Build relationships with members and guests and report relevant information
- Execute key ClubLife project work such as birthday campaigns, reservation follow-ups, and invitations to signature events
- Provide warm welcomes and fond farewells with name recognition and connection
- Direct members and guests within the club and offer business and concierge services proactively
- Inform members and guests of club services, features, upcoming events, room locations, and amenities in person and over the phone
