The ClubLife Concierge role at The Baylor Club is a part-time position that pays an hourly rate of $12.00 to $14.00, with benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions for part-time employees.

The ClubLife Concierge serves as a vital member of the Member Experience Team, focusing on delivering warm welcomes, magical moments, and fond farewells to members and guests. This role involves managing communications via multiple channels, handling member reservations, inquiries, and preferences, and promoting club events and offerings. The Concierge is also responsible for building genuine relationships with members, supporting key ClubLife initiatives such as birthday campaigns and event invitations, and ensuring the physical environment of the club remains welcoming and well-appointed.

A successful ClubLife Concierge is a service-oriented professional with a passion for hospitality and a knack for anticipating and exceeding member needs. They excel in communication, organization, and multitasking under pressure while maintaining a polished and professional appearance. This role requires a proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the club and its members. The Concierge supports a wide range of member services, including business and concierge assistance, seating guests, and participating in marketing and promotional activities.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality or related customer service role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift heavy objects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Positive and service-oriented attitude
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Willingness to adhere to company standards and policies
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

1+ years of experience in the hospitality industry or a related role
Service-oriented mindset and capable of making every guest feel valued
A 'people person' with a can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional member experience
Strong communication skills including verbal, written, phone, text, and social media communications
Ability to work well under pressure coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Positive phone demeanor and exceptional listening skills
Competent with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Ability to multitask and prioritize time effectively
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
Must be able to lift heavy objects as needed
Availability to work additional hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Communicate ClubLife through all channels and take care of members' needs as it relates to reservations, inquiries, preferences
Speak to members on various topics and promote member events, gatherings, facilities, services, and experiences
Build relationships and report with members and guests and be responsible for key ClubLife project work such as execution of birthday campaigns, reservations follow-up, invitation to signature events
Provide warm welcomes and fond farewells with key focus on name recognition and connection
Direct members and guests to their destinations within the club and provide business and concierge services, creating magic moments
Inform members and guests of club services, features, upcoming events, room locations, and amenities both in person and over the phone
Seat guests and assist with registrations, appointments, and reservations for club programs and services
