The ClubLife Concierge role at Oak View Group is a part-time opportunity designed for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service. This position plays a pivotal role within the Member Experience Team, focusing on enhancing the overall club member experience by supporting various projects, marketing initiatives, events, and direct member communication. The concierge is the cornerstone of member interactions, communicating through multiple channels such as social media, email, text messaging systems, phone calls, and in-person engagement. With an hourly pay rate of $16.00, the ClubLife Concierge is financially compensated while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and member-focused environment.
Responsibilities include managing all facets of member needs, including reservations, inquiries, preferences, and general assistance. The role demands a personable approach, where building rapport and fostering strong relationships with members and guests is essential. The ClubLife Concierge also supports key club projects such as birthday campaign execution, follow-ups on reservations, invitations to signature events, and the onboarding process for new members. Emphasizing personalized attention through initiatives like Warm Welcomes, Magic Moments, and Fond Farewells, the concierge ensures every member feels recognized and valued.
Beyond direct member interaction, the role requires organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining the club environment, managing supplies, assisting with business services, and contributing to marketing and communication efforts such as the club newsletter and event promotions. The ClubLife Concierge must adhere to company policies and professional standards, demonstrating a clean and neat appearance as per club guidelines. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the concierge responds to the evolving needs of club members and guests, including service recovery and proactive problem-solving.
This role is ideal for candidates with at least one year of hospitality or similar experience and a strong service-oriented mindset. Job Duties
- Direct members and guests to their destinations within the club
- provide business and concierge services to members
- inform members and guests of club services, features, upcoming events, room locations, and amenities
- assist members in scheduling appointments and reservations
- maintain the lobby, entrance, workstation, and surrounding areas clean
- ensure supplies needed by members/guests are stocked
- accommodate member and guest requests for business services including faxing, copying, mailing
- assist member experience initiatives such as newsletters, message on hold, website calendar, event announcements
- adhere to company, club, and department operation standards and policies
- attend daily lineups and participate as requested
- maintain professional appearance and grooming according to club standards
- adapt to changing member and guest needs
