Keesler Federal Park, formerly known as MGM Park, is a premier stadium located on the scenic Mississippi Coast in Biloxi, MS. Opened in 2015, this ballpark is home to the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers of the Southern League. With a seating capacity of over 6,000, including reserved seats, luxury suites, party decks, and a luxury club, it offers an exceptional game-day experience. The part-time Catering Supervisor role at Keesler Federal Park offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic food and beverage management team dedicated to delivering outstanding event experiences. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth catering and concession operations during events while maintaining quality service standards and compliance with regulatory policies. The Catering Supervisor supports concession managers with operational management, employee relations, staff training, and performance oversight. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, and the ability to work a variable, event-driven schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising hourly event staff, monitoring product quality and alcohol compliance, assisting with payroll and scheduling, and troubleshooting technical POS issues. The Catering Supervisor actively mentors and supports employees to meet the high standards set by Oak View Group and ensures that all activities comply with company policies. This position pays an hourly rate between $20.00 and $25.00 and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions for part-time employees.

Ideal candidates will have an associate's degree or equivalent education, along with 1-3 years of experience in catering or concessions. Certification in advanced food service sanitation and familiarity with inventory control and menu planning are essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, cash handling capability, and proficiency in basic computer software including email, Excel, Word, and scheduling platforms. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Assists in the overall effective management of catering and concessions operations
  • ensures total compliance with all alcohol service policies
  • monitors alcohol service throughout the event to ensure 100 percent compliance with alcohol service policies
  • reports any alcohol service or compliance issues to management immediately
  • provides ongoing direction, supervision, and mentoring to hourly event staff
  • monitor product quality and ensure a high level of guest service
  • assists in troubleshooting technical problems with Point of Sale systems from both a hardware and software perspective
