The company's mission is to revolutionize the live entertainment experience by delivering unparalleled service quality and innovative solutions that resonate with diverse audiences worldwide.
Within this dynamic and esteemed environment, the role of Catering Manager at Colorado State University encompasses full-time responsibility for overseeing catering and concessions operations at Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium. This position is integral to ensuring the seamless execution of a wide array of events, including catered functions, athletic events, premium hospitality offerings, concessions, and other food and beverage services managed by OVG on campus. The Catering Manager fosters an environment where high standards of hospitality, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence are paramount, positively impacting student-athletes, fans, university partners, and clients alike.
Functioning as the operational backbone for catering and concessions, the Catering Manager administers leadership, support, and hands-on management of event-day activities, from event setup through execution to tear-down. The role demands a proactive approach to sustaining superior service quality, adhering strictly to safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies, and ensuring compliance with company and venue standards. This includes close collaboration with event staff, culinary teams, concessions managers, and guests to enable flawless execution.
Together with a team, the Catering Manager manages staffing, scheduling, training, and performance oversight to foster a professional, efficient, and motivated workforce. Expertise in troubleshooting technical issues related to Point-of-Sale systems and event management software is valuable to maintain operational smoothness. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic event-driven nature of venue operations.
The successful candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and equipped with strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced event settings. This rewarding position offers an annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000, along with comprehensive full-time benefits that include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan with matching, and paid time off encompassing vacation days, sick days, and holidays. This opportunity remains open until September 25, 2026, inviting passionate professionals to join Oak View Group’s mission to deliver exceptional hospitality and entertainment experiences at the university venue level.
