Oak View Group (OVG) is a leading global company specializing in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Established in 2015, OVG operates a range of world-class venues including arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Known for its comprehensive platform that spans venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales, Oak View Group has built a reputation as an innovative and influential leader in the sports and live entertainment industry. With its headquarters and numerous active sites, OVG provides a unique and dynamic work environment that emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and excellence in service. The company is focused on creating experiences that entertain and engage audiences while maintaining high standards for operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. OVG is committed to equal employment opportunity and values a diverse workforce, recognizing that inclusivity fuels innovation and enhances service quality. The company ensures a welcoming workplace free of discrimination based on protected classes such as race, gender, age, disability, and more, aligning with federal, state, and local laws. This approach fosters an environment in which employees feel respected and empowered to contribute their best work. The Caterer Manager position at Colorado State University’s Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium represents a vital role within OVG's hospitality and venue management operations. This full-time, regular position offers an annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 and includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, and paid time off covering vacation days, sick leave, and 11 holidays. The Catering Manager is responsible for providing leadership, support, and operational oversight for catering and concessions within these university venues. The role directly supports the successful delivery of catered events, athletic games, premium hospitality areas, concessions sales, and other food and beverage services managed by Oak View Group on campus. This position demands a hands-on approach to managing event execution including setup, service, and teardown, all while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies. Collaboration with event staff, culinary teams, concessions managers, and university partners is key to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to student-athletes, fans, and guests. The Catering Manager also plays a critical role in employee management, including training, scheduling, performance oversight, and communication to maintain a positive and professional workforce. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, technical proficiency particularly with point-of-sale and scheduling systems, and excellent communication abilities. A flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential given the nature of live events and catering requirements at large venues. Overall, this role embodies the vibrant and fast-paced environment of premium event management and hospitality operations, offering professional growth opportunities within a globally recognized entertainment group committed to excellence and diversity.
