They are committed to fostering inclusive and diverse workplace environments, reflecting the communities they serve, and continuously driving excellence in service and operations.

At the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, Oak View Group manages the food and beverage program, which boasts a diverse portfolio of dining experiences including a multi-concept cafe, a modern luxury restaurant, a licensed Starbucks, and an active special events catering operation. The venue is recognized as a premier cultural destination. The hospitality team is dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences by combining outstanding food quality, professional service, and welcoming atmospheres.

The Busser role at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is a vital part of the front-of-house operations within the venue's food and beverage program. This part-time position offers an hourly pay range of $20.00 to $26.00 and supports either the cafe or the full-service restaurant. The Busser is responsible for ensuring that dining areas remain clean, tidy, and well-organized throughout service hours. This includes quickly clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, bartenders, and baristas by delivering water, food items, condiments, and other guest requests, and maintaining service stations and guest-facing spaces.

The Busser also refills supplies such as ice, glassware, silverware, napkins, and condiments and helps transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to dishwashing areas. Flexibility is key, as the Busser supports both cafe and restaurant operations depending on business needs and special event schedules. Additional duties include assisting with opening and closing side work, keeping floors and dining areas clean, and supporting banquet and special event setups or breakdowns when required. This dynamic role demands teamwork, a strong work ethic, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Working at Oak View Group’s Lucas Museum of Narrative Art offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and supportive team committed to exceptional hospitality and service excellence. Employees benefit from programs such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, along with a chance to work in a creative and cultural hub inspired by stunning art and storytelling.
