The Busser role at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is a part-time position that plays a vital part in supporting front-of-house food and beverage services. This role requires maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas, assisting service staff like servers, bartenders, and baristas, and ensuring the overall guest experience is enjoyable and efficient. Bussers work closely with the entire culinary and service team to facilitate smooth operations in both cafe and restaurant settings.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based shifts
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain workplace safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently throughout service
- Assist servers, bartenders, and baristas by delivering water, food items, condiments, and other guest requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, cafe seating areas, service stations, and guest-facing spaces
- Refill ice, glassware, silverware, napkins, condiments, and other supplies throughout shifts
- Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to dishwashing areas
- Support both cafe and restaurant operations based on business needs and event schedules
- Assist with opening and closing side work duties
- Maintain clean floors, tables, chairs, and surrounding dining areas
- Support restaurant and cafe staff during busy service periods
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Assist with banquet and special event setup or breakdown when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management
