Job Requirements
- 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages related to POS transactions and inventory
Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of beverage ordering with the assistance of other Food and Beverage Managers
- Supervise beverage service including alcoholic beverages and verify guest identification for age compliance
- Assist with beverage orders to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Ensure location equipment is operable and clean before events
- Recognize guests that are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol
- Enforce all OVG policies and procedures
- Assist the Management team with training, inventory, and special events
- Perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
