Established in 2015, OVG excels in venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales, providing end-to-end capabilities that span an impressive portfolio of seven world-class venues. Their clientele features some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. The company is dedicated to delivering superior entertainment experiences, backed by a commitment to inclusivity, innovation, and operational excellence. Working at OVG offers professionals a dynamic and diverse workplace where every voice is valued, contributing to the continuous disruption and evolution of the sports and live entertainment industry.
The Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center, operated by Oak View Group, is currently seeking a temporary part-time Bartender for an exciting short-term opportunity running from June 11, 2026, to June 23, 2026. This role is vital for ensuring exceptional guest experiences during various events held at this vibrant venue located in Federal Way, Washington. The Bartender will be responsible for providing excellent beverage service, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while maintaining professionalism under fast-paced and high-volume conditions. This position offers an hourly wage between $19.50 and $23.00, plus tips, reflecting the importance of quality service and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will demonstrate personability, dependability, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of events.
In this role, the Bartender will follow detailed pre-shift notes, event instructions, and bar menus to guarantee consistent and accurate service that complies with all state and federal alcohol service laws. Responsibilities involve verifying guest identification, responsible alcohol pouring, and monitoring guest consumption to uphold company and legal standards responsibly. The Bartender must maintain excellent cash handling accuracy, keep the work area clean and organized, and assist in bar setup and breakdown. Attention to guest interaction is critical, as the Bartender must maintain professional communication, address guest inquiries swiftly and appropriately, and escalate concerns when necessary.
The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and contribute positively within a team environment is essential for success. Given the nature of event-driven work, the Bartender must be prepared to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts, standing for prolonged periods and occasionally lifting supplies. The role demands a valid food handler’s certificate and alcohol service permit, underscoring the professional standards upheld by OVG.
Joining Oak View Group means becoming part of a team united to make a difference in live entertainment. Their commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion ensures a welcoming environment for all employees. This temporary role is a fantastic opportunity for bartenders looking to gain experience in a renowned venue management company, expand their skills in a high-energy environment, and contribute to memorable guest experiences at one of Federal Way’s premier entertainment destinations. The position remains open for applications until June 31, 2026, offering a supportive and rewarding workplace for detail-oriented and guest-focused individuals.
