The position of Bartender is a seasonal, part-time role based at the Zootown venue in Missoula, Montana. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are personable, professional, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The bartender will be responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, strictly adhering to company protocols and federal and state regulations concerning the service of alcohol. The role requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to handle customer concerns and challenging situations professionally. Successful candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and long shifts during the busy seasonal period running from May 19, 2026, to September 19, 2026. The position offers an hourly wage of $10.85, and employees are eligible to receive tips, providing an opportunity to increase overall earnings.

Responsibilities also include verifying guests’ ages through ID checks, monitoring guests for safe alcohol consumption, and managing the bar's cash bank accurately. Job Requirements
- Six months or more experience bartending
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Bartending school preferred
- Accurate cash handling skills required

Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving size standards
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
- Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond scope
- Request additional products or restock as needed
- Responsible for the issued bank at the bar
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
- Set up and break down bar equipment and assist with organization of cooler
