The Bartender position at the Zootown location in Missoula, Montana, is a seasonal, part-time role running from May 19, 2026, to September 19, 2026, with the job posting remaining open until August 7, 2026. This role involves preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations concerning the distribution of alcohol. The bartender is expected to uphold the highest standards of guest service, maintaining professionalism, and adapting to the fast-paced and ever-changing environment typical of live entertainment venues. This position pays an hourly wage of $10.85 and is eligible for tips, providing an opportunity for additional earnings.

They must be knowledgeable about different types of beers, wines, and spirits and able to suggestively upsell products to enhance the guest experience. Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service and interaction with co-workers
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
