The Bartender role at OVG is a seasonal part-time position based in Zootown, Missoula, Montana. This role is pivotal within the Food & Beverage Management category, focusing on delivering high-quality beverage service during a busy, event-driven season running from May 19, 2026, through September 19, 2026. Priced at an hourly rate of $10.85 plus tips, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting world-class entertainment events. The bartender will be responsible for the preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations concerning alcohol distribution. Job Requirements

Six months or more bartending experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Bartending school preferred
Accurate cash handling skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Self-directed with ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and long hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as necessary
Request additional products or restock products as needed
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
Set up and break down bar equipment as required
Assist with the organization of the cooler
Responsible for the issued bank at the bar
