Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum six months bartending experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol serving regulations
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more of bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability for flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirits to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
  • Verify guest IDs to ensure minimum age requirements
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests when necessary
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security when required
  • Request additional products or restock as needed
  • Handle cash transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
  • Assist with set-up, breakdown, and organization of bar equipment and supplies
